Established in 1946, Nairobi National Park stands as the only national park in the world to be situated in a city centre. The park was Kenya’s first and is located approximately 7km south of the country’s capital Nairobi.

In addition to having indigenous plant species, Nairobi National Park is home to a variety of wildlife including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, rhinoceros, and lion among others.

Several accommodations are also available in or around the park where you can enjoy some peace and quiet away from the bustle of city life.

Nairobi Tented Camp

The camp is the only one nestled in the heart of Nairobi National Park and consists of en suite tents, as well as elegant dining and living areas tastefully furnished to create a unique wilderness allure.

The rooms are spaced out inside the forest each with their own en suite washroom and safari shower.

Masai Lodge

Situated in Silole Sanctuary next to Nairobi National Park, Masai Lodge blends well with the surrounding greenery to create an atmosphere of natural African wilderness.

Rolf’s Place

Rolf’s Place is a leopard cliff mansion, built like a medieval fortress on the edge of a cliff on the South East border of Nairobi National Park, only 25 minutes from the Nairobi centre.

The house has 7 double bedrooms all individually furnished and en suite, a large terrace overlooking the gorge and a private dining room that can sit up to 20 people.

The lodge has a total of 16 rooms on two levels: Balcony rooms on the upper level overlooking the swimming pool and 8 standard rooms all with thatched roofs, a rough, rustic exterior and a cosy interior.
